Standard square or rectangular steel billets can be hot rolled with your new tooling on our 14” cross country bar mill to produce economical near net sections. These hot rolled special shapes compete successfully with forgings, castings, extrusions, cold drawings and machined products in both price and precision.

DESIGN YOUR OWN SECTION

We can help you to design your own near net shape within our tooling and rolling capabilities. By precisely determining the exact requirements of your application, we can develop a unique roll design that can minimize or eliminate subsequent machining, thereby reducing your manufacturing costs.

SHAPE LIMITS

AUTO DOOR HINGE

Used in many European designed cars where strength and integrity of the door is a key component

TRAM RAIL

Used in overhead crane assembly as rails where the wheels ride on the trolley of the crane.

WATER TRANSMISSION

Used in water transmission lines where a high pressure seal between concrete pipe is needed.

RIM BASE

Used in water transmission lines where a high pressure seal between concrete pipe is needed.

RIM BAND

Used in conjunction with the rim base as a locking ring to constrain the tire onto the rim base.

BRIDGE DECKING

Used in the decking systems on bridges, most current project include the Ambassor Bridge and the Newburgh Beacon Bridge

BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINTS

Used in at the interchange from road surface to bridge to allow the bridge to expand and contract as needed.

GROUSER BAR

Used to replace tracks on heavy equipment, this bar can be welded in replacement so the whole track does not need changed.
